My Lunchreak seat is currently #2 on the leaderboard.
Lunchbreak is a SocialFi project (beta) launched in June 2024. Collect friends' seats like Pokemon cards. The more popular, the more the seats are worth. Or, message strangers by paying for their attention.

Seats that people want to buy (and hold)
1. v2 Rewards
The Lunchbreak team launched Rewards ("points") for activities that benefit the project, including referrals, volume, and seat price.

The v1 points were about referrals; the v2 points incentivize volume and seat price in addition to referrals; and v2.5 involves referrals of referrals of referrals ad infinitum.
2. v1 Scouting
The Lunchbreak team launched Scouting, a way for early users to spend some money to get a share of future revenues.

Buy a Scout pass, burn it to scout (or return it for a full refund).
Identify an existing account on X that doesn't have a Lunchbreak seat, and use your Scout pass powers to create it. You become the referrer of that seat, and as long as you hold one seat, you get a share of the revenues.
3. v0 Launch
The Lunchbreak team launched seats.

Users can create their own seat by linking to an X account, or a Warpcast account, or both.
Buy seats at each others' tables via the official front-end website, which interacts with audited smart contracts, which deposit Base ETH into a pool for each seat. The price for entry and exit is determined by a bonding curve.
This means that each purchase raises the price formulaically for the next buyer or seller, and each sale lowers the price formulaically for the next buyer or seller.
Message anyone by paying for their attention. Messages to people whose seats you hold are free.
4. How to get a seat that people want to buy (and hold)
Three ways:
- have an account that people expect others to buy
For example, Elon Musk's X account was a popular seat for people to buy. This is generally PvP, as you also have to get out of the seat before others want to sell it. Pavel Durov's seat was similar; as were Trump's seats before the debates.
An interesting dynamic will be in the near future, holders of top 10 seats will get more points. This means that correctly anticipating the top 10 will be rewarding. In particular, if people anticipate buying of seat #11 to push it into the top 10, anticipating that flow can be lucrative.
- buy an account that offers value to people
Certain accounts are valuable to be seen to be at their table. For example, the founders of Lunchbreak are valuable to be seen at their tables.
- tie your seat holding to some utility or value
